The Big Sit! Bird-a-Thon this coming October 11th and 12th benefits the educational programs of Grange Insurance Audubon Center and Columbus Audubon Society!
Grange Insurance Audubon Centers' mission is to awaken and connect participants to the beauty of the natural world in the heart of Columbus and inspire environmental stewardship in their daily lives.
Come and take a guided hike with our Grange Insurance Audubon Center Educators or Columbus Audubon Volunteers to see what birds you can find in your Scioto Audubon Metro Park each Saturday at 10 am *PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED FOR THIS FREE EVENT ON EVENTBRITE. Of course, you're always welcome to enjoy a self-guided hike in the park during the Scioto Audubon Metro Park open hours, but our guided hikes will give you the basics of birding and help you learn about areas in our park that are great for birdwatching!
The Grange Insurance Audubon Center will enlist citizens in the community to help us work towards our conservation goals. There will be many opportunities to become scientists with the education staff and volunteers at the Center.
