BOWS FOR BIRDS
OUTDOOR WINTER SCAVENGER HUNT
JAN. 17-MARCH 8, 2026

Explore the Scioto Audubon Metro Park while learning about and identifying bird species that exist year-round in Ohio! Six wooden cut-out birds created by a local artist have been installed in six different locations throughout the park. Pick up a map at the front desk to help your search.  Fill out the form and if you have the locations/birds correct, you may win a prize! Forms available beginning Jan. 17 and must be turned in by March 8 to be considered for prizes.

SPRING BIRD WALKS START MARCH 14 - MAY 23! (EVERY OTHER SATURDAY)

Take a hike with our center educators or Columbus Audubon volunteers to see what you can find on our center grounds and the surrounding Scioto Audubon Metro Park. Register HERE

SEEDS OF CARING EARTH DAY EVENT
APRIL 18 

Seeds of Caring’s Kids as Planet Protectors: An Earth Day Celebration will take place on Saturday, April 18, at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center. Families and groups are invited to participate in multiple projects to help kids ages 2-12 take action in protecting our environment and investing in our planet’s future. Community partners will be on site to educate kids on environmental stewardship actions. Join us for a day of fun, education, and live music! Stay tuned for details and registration!

GREEN COLUMBUS EARTH DAY EVENT 
APRIL 26 - 11 AM to 7 PM

Celebrate Earth Day with Green Columbus at this free, family-friendly, zero-waste event at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center. Enjoy hands-on fun, learn about local sustainability efforts, and connect with organizations making a positive environmental impact in our community. Learn more HERE
