Visit Our Center

The Grange Audubon Insurance Center is a sanctuary for birds and nature lovers, set in parkland created from a formerly urban and industrial site in the heart of downtown Columbus, along the Scioto River.

Center Hours Update effective 1/5/2021:

Due to the continue high number of Covid-19 cases and Franklin County, Ohio the Grange Insurance Audubon Center will remain closed to indoor visitation and most indoor programming through Tuesday, January 19th, 2021. We will be offering pre-registered outdoor  and some indoor programming with groups no larger than 10 people during this time.  Our anticipated reopening date for indoor visitation and programming will be January 19th, 2021. Please continue to check our the Grange Insurance Audubon Center Eventbrite page for pre-registered outdoor and indoor programming such as our Weekly Beginner Bird Hikes, Winter Lantern Hikes in partnership with Scioto Audubon Metro Park and our Adventure Backpack curbside check out opportunities. Please continue to check out website for updated programming opportunities like NEW! Winter Wednesdays and the return of Turtle Tuesdays and Preschool Storytime.

In an effort to keep our visitors, volunteers and staff healthy and safe, we feel this continued indoor closure to visitors is necessary at this time. We look forward to engaging you virtually and in pre-registered outdoor and indoor programs during this time. Be well and keep your spirits high (and don't forget to get some fresh air while enjoying some time out in nature)!
