Join the Adventure this Summer!

Summer is just around the corner! Registration for 2025 camp experiences will open on or around February 3rd, 2025.

THE AUDUBON ADVENTURE CAMP EXPERIENCE:

Audubon has a long history of providing life-changing experiences in natural settings with over 30 summer camp programs in the U.S. Register your child to part of this amazing network of camps  around the country right here at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center this summer! Join us this summer as we explore the grounds of the Grange Insurance Audubon Center and the different habitats of the Scioto-Audubon Metro Park. Using books, games, crafts, water play and wildlife we will awaken youth to the beauty of the natural world and inspire campers to make connections between their actions and their environment. 

AUDUBON ADVENTURE CAMP 2025 REGISTRATION OPENS ON OR NEAR FEBRUARY 3rd.  
 

DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE START OF EACH CAMP SESSION. 

Camp numbers for 2025 are as follows: 
12 campers per session for Pre-K camp
15 campers per session for K-1st grade camps
15 campers per session for 2nd-4th grade camps

All camp sessions are staffed with at least 2 camp counselors

June 2025 Camp Offerings:

June 9th-13th Pre-K Half-Day (ages 4-5) M-F 9:00am-12:00pm   Theme: Bird Buddies- What makes birds so special? Are they really related to dinosaurs? Campers will discover the world of birds during this camp session. Learn about nests, eggs, feathers, beaks, and other unique bird adaptations. All camp sessions include nature-themed books and stories, songs, crafts, and outdoor games. ($225)

June 23rd-27th K-1st Grade Half-Day (ages 5-7) M-F 9:00am-12:00pm  Theme: Feathered Friends- What makes birds so special? Are they really related to dinosaurs? Campers will discover the world of birds during this camp session. Learn about nests, eggs, feathers, beaks, and other unique bird adaptations. All camp sessions include nature-themed books and stories, songs, crafts, and outdoor games.  ($225)                                                                        

July 2025 Camp Offerings: 

July 7th-11th K-1st Grade Full-Day (ages 5-7) M-F 9:00am-4:00pm  Theme: Fur, Feathers, Scales, and Tails- Learn all about Ohio’s diverse wildlife during this camp session. Campers will discover the unique adaptations of Ohio’s resident birds, amphibians, reptiles, fish, and mammals. All camp sessions include nature-themed books and stories, songs, crafts, and outdoor games. ($325)

July 21st-25th 2nd-4th Grade Full-Day (ages 7-9) M-F 9:00am-4:00pm Theme: Junior Naturalists- Uncover your inner naturalist! Campers will develop a connection with nature by exploring the park’s four different habitats and learning about the unique qualities of each one. Make your own nature journal to record your observations. Activities include rock climbing, bird watching, fishing, wetland netting for macroinvertebrates, shelter building, field drawing, outdoor games and more! ($325)

July 28th-August 1st Pre-K Half-Day (ages 4-5) M-F 9:00am-12:00pm Theme: Fur, Feathers, Scales, and Tails-  Learn all about Ohio’s diverse wildlife during this camp session. IBA (Important Bird Area) Kayak Tour-Discover the IBA along the Scioto River from a different point of view. Participants must be at least 10 years old. Participants under 18, must be accompanied by an adult. 

Avian Adventures -Learn all about birds and their adaptations at this one-day immersive camp!
