Welcome to the Grange Insurance Audubon Center

Where People Connect to Nature

We're hoping to reopen soon and can't wait to welcome you back to the center!

The staff at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center misses you! Last week we announced that the Grange Insurance Audubon Center would be reopening to the public on Tuesday, July 7th.  With the unexpected surge in cases and new regulations due to COVID-19, we have decided to push our reopening back.  No new date has been set at this time.  Please continue to follow our website and social media or call 614-545-5475 for updates.  We look forward to welcoming you back soon!  - Executive Director, Leigh Ann Miller and the Grange Insurance Audubon Center Team

Celebrating Over 10 Years of Conservation

Grange Insurance Audubon Center strives to light a spark of passion in the hearts of our community for the natural world. This is an obligation we joyfully carry out through youth and adult education opportunities, on-the-ground conservation and demonstration of native habitat for the benefit of birds and all life. We celebrate this work and our decade long partnerships with Columbus Recreation and Parks Department, Franklin County Metro Parks and National Audubon Society that help to create and maintain this urban natural haven.

Over the past eleven years we have welcomed more than 40,000 youth participants to our hands-on conservation programming, fostered 25,000 volunteer hours and inspired more than half a million community members. Our conservation and restoration efforts have restored 100 acres or habitat, by removing over 9,000 invasive plants and replacing 5,000 native plants. We look forward to what the next 10 years of conservation education and nature adventure will do for our community.
