Cierra Jackson
Artist Bio
Cierra Jackson is an emerging interdisciplinary artist and storyteller based in Columbus, Ohio. Her artistic journey, nurtured since childhood, spans a variety of mediums including visual art, public speaking, and narrative work. Currently focusing on creative writing, graphite, and acrylic paintings, Cierra’s visual practice explores vibrant color palettes, dynamic forms, and themes of emotional resilience, grief, and the human experience.
As a full-time mother, and artist, Cierra draws upon her lived experiences to fuel her creative process. Grief has not only shaped her personal narrative but has become a central force within her work, driving her to create pieces that resonate deeply with themes of loss, healing, and everyday survival. Whether through visual compositions, movement, or voice, her work invites others into reflective spaces where art becomes both a mirror and a balm.
Cierra is committed to using her multidisciplinary approach to foster connection and communal storytelling, blending the healing power of creativity with the complexities of life’s transitions.
