Education Programming

We offer conservation and nature-inspired programming for all ages!

Now in our 14th year of operation, we continue to place an emphasis on environmental education for all ages. Not only do our education programs meet state science standards; they also spark curiosity for the natural world. All programs include hands-on activities and guided outdoor exploration around the Scioto-Audubon Metro Park.  

 

PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS

Programs for our youngest learners include a short lesson, story, craft or activity, and outdoor exploration.  Download Preschool Field Trip flyer below for all details.

 

ELEMENTARY PROGRAMS

Programs for school-aged children are a supportive extension of the learning already taking place in your classroom.  Choose from four themes and our educators will work with you to create an engaging experience.  Download Education Programs sheet below for all details. 

 

ADULT PROGRAMS

Whether you are looking for a filed trip foryour college student group or an environmental lesson for your organization, we have you covered. Our adult programs include lessons on birding, bird migration, and native plants. Download Education Programs sheet below for all details.

 

YEAR-LONG CONSERVATION CLASSROOM SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPS

Are you looking to supplement your students' classroom learning with a year-long immersive nature-based STEAM field trip experience? Partner classrooms visit the Grange Insurance Audubon Center three different times throughout the year for environmental education that meets state science standards.  Previous partners and those with new interest - please contact Anne Scott, Community Engagement Coordinator to learn more about available partnerships for the 2025-2026 school year.

 

NATURE EDUCATION AT HOME

Looking for resources to help teach your child about the environment at home? Audubon for Kids is an online space available in English and Spanish that provides fun projects including nature activities, games, quizzes, and more. For English, visit "Audubon for Kids."
