Wednesday evenings this fall, discover the sights, sounds and beauty of a sunset at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center! Meet at the front desk inside the center and then explore center grounds and the surrounding Metro Park. On this guided walk participants may stop at the Scioto River overlook, walk along the paved path thru the edge of the riparian forest, stroll along the paved trails of the vibrant fall prairie and may even stop for a quick visit to see what type of wildlife might be enjoying the study wetland. Learn how to make a deeper connection with nature by participating in a sit spot. There's a whole world to discover at sunset! Please note, this walk is geared toward families with school-aged children (parent must accompany) as well as adults.
Pre-registration is required due to limited space at this time. Each participant must have a ticket. Pre-registration will end 12 hours before each event. Please bring your ticket to the program and check in at the front desk of the Grange Insurance Audubon Center.
