It's a very busy time of year for our fine, feathered friends! Join us Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7:30-8:30 am this fall for early morning, fall migration bird walks to search for birds who are passing through this Important Bird Area before traveling south for the winter! Bring your binoculars and camera OR check out binoculars at the front desk of the center (we'll just ask that you leave an id until the binoculars are returned). After the walk, stop back inside to take a look at our latest Art at Audubon exhibit. The early bird gets the worm so be sure to sign up now to join us! *Weather-permitting, walks will go on unless there is a heavy downpour or lightening in the area. Please watch our social media for updates if needed. In the event of a last minute cancellation, we'll be happy to reschedule you for another walk if available or provide a refund. Check in will begin at 7:25 am, walk will leave the center by 7:40 am. Please check in with your ticket at the front desk. If you'd like to borrow binoculars, please have your id with you.
Pre-registration is required due to limited capacity at this time. Pre-registration will close at 7:30 pm the night before each walk. Masks must currently be worn inside the center and social distancing will be observed during each walk (and inside the center as well), thank you for your cooperation in helping keep yourself, your fellow participants and our staff and volunteers as safe and healthy as possible.
