Multiple visit partnership programs
Built as an extension of your science classroom, Conservation Classroom is an environmental science inquiry-based educational partnership program. The full day, 4 – hour program requires students to follow the scientific process and hypothesize, investigate and collect data with the park and draw conclusions from that investigation.
How Can My School Participate?
Tuition cost is $2000 that is paid by your school
Chase Bank is the lead sponsor of the Conservation Classroom Program and that sponsorship covers $5000 of the $7,000 total cost
What will we do at the Audubon Center?
An individualized education plan to map out your school year
School visit experience are based on your lesson plan to create a unique experience that ties classroom content & ODE content standards to conservation action in our environment.
What do we get as a Partner School?
12 full day ( 4 –hr) visits to the Grange Insurance Audubon Center to spread out throughout the year.
Schools are encourages to bring waste-free or cold lunches in eco-friendly packaging and can eat during, before or after the program, on site
Did you know?
Partner Schools also receive one FREE rental at the Audubon Center for teacher development, etc.
Transportation is paid for and scheduled for your school by the Audubon Center for all partner schools
At the school year’s conclusion, students engage in a Conservation Action project that encompasses the year’s content and allows them to apply into a real-life conservation action based project within the park.
